Stink Bugs are an overwintering pest that are most commonly seen in early fall when temperatures start to drop as they look for shelter, then again in the spring as they emerge to get back outside.
They can fly and leave a cilantro- or skunk-smelling odor as a defense mechanism, and they may even produce allergic reactions (rhinitis and/or conjunctivitis) in individuals who are sensitive to the bugs’ odor. They do not bite or spread diseases, but they can cause significant damage to crops in large numbers.
To help keep the activity at bay…
Professional-grade insecticides are applied to targeted areas such as cracks, crevices, and other common hiding spots to address pest activity at its source. When appropriate, treatments may include insecticides and insect growth regulators to help control pests throughout their life cycle. Both indoor and outdoor areas are treated, focusing on interior active zones as well as exterior entry points, foundations, and surrounding landscaping to help prevent pests from entering the home. All products are selected and applied with effectiveness and safety in mind for your home and family.
To help prevent future stink bug issues, we offer ongoing protection plans. Our Bronze, Silver and Gold Plans include continued monitoring and treatment to keep infestations under control. We’ll also share tips on maintaining an stink bug-free environment and keeping your pets safe.
