In the midwest, we have what are called Subterranean Termites. They nest underground, traveling back and forth from the nest to your home to eat wood. They’re very good at hiding until damage has already been done.
Termites are responsible for billions of dollars in home damage every year. Annual inspections and ongoing protection plans are a necessary part of your home maintenance. If you see signs like mud tubes, frass, or damage, you may need treatment.
We work closely with hundreds of Real Estate Agents across the Metro and ensure termites don’t stop their home sales. We have performed over 5,000 termite treatments specifically for real estate transactions, so we understand the importance of getting the service done quickly, for the right price, and with the right paperwork.
We complete and provide the NPMA-33 form required by lenders for home sales and refinances. Includes inspection for termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and wood-boring beetles.
Our conventional soil treatment creates a strong barrier around the entire home.
Our full home treatments include a one year warranty that is transferable to the new buyer.
We can bill your termite services to the title company to reduce pre-sale costs for your seller. Let our office team know if you’d like to pay this way when you schedule. ($50 admin fee)
If you find mud tubes along your foundation or in your basement, these may be termite tunnels. Termites build these tunnels to travel from the ground to your home while staying protected from the sun. It may not be an active tunnel, so it would be best to have us come out and inspect to make sure.
Termite work VERY slowly. If you catch an infestation early, there could be minimal damage. While we can’t assess structural damage or recommend repairs, we can help catch termites before they cause significant damage.
Absolutely! We prioritize termite treatments when the closing date is approaching. We will either make sure your treatment gets completed, or you can prepay for the service and we will provide “Intent to Treat” paperwork to the buyer in order to close.
